Custom Leather Moto Apparel/ FAQ
We build with cowhide in the 1.2-1.3mm range — the industry standard thickness for genuine abrasion resistance on track or street. Thinner leather looks the same on a hanger but won't hold up the same way in a slide. If a suit doesn't state its leather thickness anywhere, that's usually a sign it wasn't built with performance in mind.
Yes — we use CE-rated armor (EN 1621 certified) at the shoulders, elbows, and back as standard, with removable inserts so you can upgrade or replace protection over time. If you need documentation for a specific track day requirement, tell us and we'll confirm what's available.
A standard size is built to fit an "average" rider in that size bracket — fine for casual street riding, but it can bunch or gap in exactly the places that matter most during a fall. Made-to-measure means sleeve length, torso depth, and waist width are all built around your specific body and riding position, so the armor stays exactly where it needs to be.
Made-to-measure builds typically ship in 1-2 weeks from the point we confirm your measurements and spec. If you order a standard sized piece with light customization, that's usually faster — ask us for a specific timeline based on what you're ordering.
Yes, and it's genuinely worth asking for on performance gear — hand-finished seams distribute stress across multiple stitch points, so one broken thread doesn't cause the whole seam to fail the way a single machine-stitched line can. This is standard on our custom suits.
Yes — personalization including your name, race number, and non-licensed sponsor text can be added via patches or embroidery. Let us know your layout preferences when you place your order.
Depends on the build — track riding needs race-geometry tailoring (pre-curved sleeves, forward-lean posture) and full CE armor coverage, while street riding gear can be a bit more relaxed in cut. Tell us which you're using it for and we'll spec the suit accordingly rather than sell you a generic build.
Yes — we handle team and group orders with consistent colors, panel layout, and branding across every rider's suit, while each individual's measurements stay personal to them.
Because custom suits are built to your exact spec, alterations after production are limited — this is why we confirm every measurement carefully with you before cutting begins. If you're between sizes or unsure how to measure yourself, message us and we'll walk you through it.
Pricing depends on leather choice, armor configuration, and customization (colors, panels, personalization) — rather than quote a number that might not apply to your build, message us your specifications via WhatsApp and we'll send a clear, exact quote.
